Company History

 Heli Solutions Limited was established and incorporated on the 12th July, 2010 by Helicopter Pilots, Capt. James Pima and Capt. Philip Emeck. After almost 20 years of aviation service in both the PNG Defence Force and civil aviation industry they decided to chase their dreams of owning and operating a helicopter company of their own. 

 The company commenced operations on the 13th August, 2011 upon the arrival of its first Bell 407 helicopter (P2-HSL). Since then the company has grown rapidly from 1 Bell 407 helicopter and 8 employees, to 3 Bell 407 helicopters, 1 BK-117 helicopter, and over 30 national employees.

We pride ourselves in being 100% nationally owned and operated. The company was established to provide a platform for other young Papua New Guineans aspiring to enter the aviation industry the opportunity excel and make a positive contribution towards this nation.

 Purpose

 The company was established with the purpose of providing a helicopter charter service that focused on providing safe and quality flying solutions that is targeted at meeting each and every client’s specific needs.

 Market

 The growth of the mining and petroleum sector due to the PNG LNG Project has created a vacuum whereby nearly 80% of all existing helicopter resources are being engaged to facilitate these projects. As a result traditional users of helicopter services and other new clients entering the marketplace are finding it more difficult to source helicopter service providers that are readily available to fulfil their needs.

 Heli Solutions Ltd was specifically established to cater for this growing demand to fill in these vacuum through the provision of ad-hoc based charter services to the lower end helicopter user markets that usually required light helicopter services.

 In time and as we grow and increase our fleet of helicopters we hope to be able to service all other sectors that may have a need for our helicopter services.
